In 2015, the judges of the Ninth
District Court of Appeals began a pilot program to video record
oral arguments. The Court entered a
standing
order on video recording as a first step in this process.
The Court's goal is to make oral arguments available to the general
public. The videos will be available through a link on this
page as soon as possible after the oral argument is held, generally
within a day or two of the oral argument. The video recording
is not an official record of the proceedings. It is intended
to be used for informational purposes only.
The following video will give you an overview
of the program and a little more background about how the Court
reached this point.
Oral argument videos will
be posted on YouTube as soon as possible after oral argument.
It will generally take a day or two for the videos to be available.
The Court's YouTube channel is available
here. If you have any suggestions or
comments about our pilot program, please email them to the
Court by clicking
